Charity Regatta:

"The fragrance always stays on the hand that gives the rose." -- Hada Bejar.

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
-- Winston Churchill

I don't know who first said it first or who said it best, but the real mark of what we are is not what we have but what we give. The NYCLB is deeply indebted to Betty McConnel and LaVon Plumlee for her work over the years in the Charity Regatta. They have agreed to represent our club for the Charity Regatta again this year.
