Membership: The Navy Yacht Club Long Beach has the unique advantage of possessing two very nice facilities. One is located on the grounds of the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, and the other facility is situated on one of the most beautiful locations in Alamitos Bay. The Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station site is used for more formal activities and when weather dictates indoor activities. The Alamitos Bay site is used for on-the-water activities and outdoor fun! Both sites are perfectly suited for a club like the Navy Yacht Club Long Beach!

These two facilities permit the Navy Yacht Club Long Beach to have a two pronged focus: social and sailing. Throughout the year the Navy Yacht Club enjoys a host of fantastic social activities: Friday evening fellowship at the Alamitos Bay facility and monthly brunch's are consistently well attended. Formal dinners and activities are scheduled regularly at the Naval Weapons Station facility. Bar-B-Q's and outdoor activities are a welcome social event at the Alamitos Bay site. Along with an active cruising schedule and regattas, the Navy Yacht Club Long Beach has a very vigorous and varied schedule of highly enjoyable activities.

The Navy Yacht Club Long Beach enjoys reciprocal activities with other yacht clubs around the world. As members of SCYA, U.S. Sailing Association, USNSA, and ASPBYC, the Navy Yacht Club Long Beach is a highly respected and welcomed participant in the yachting community.
